hi tried converting commandor 12 to 1x image then reflashed all i got on boot up was a blank display on the dbox display so i have just grabbed this of the site Petze Image-1xI] - can any 1 give the user and pass for flash and do i need to transfare magic files over cheers

You also forgot to read the release notes for Commando 12, m8!!
These tell you very clearly that this image is upx-lzma compressed, and that Image Converter CANNOT be used!!
This is why we have provided you with both 1x and 2x formats in Downloads. Stick with Commando 12, using the correct image I've linked you to below.
