Dbox 2 birmingham - chans gone - reflashed

Hi all, my box and the ex mrs box went down last week friday ish...
i know we have a few freqs here as ex c and w. anyway. boxes were on commando 11.3 and when tried to re scan it was coming up with transponder error in fast and in brute...

    1) does anyone know what has happened?

    2) i have put on commando 12 and tried all freqs with brute (which is irrelivant with brute anyway) but doesnt find a single channel.

    3) ive gone back to 11.3 and not doing a brute and its actually finding some but not many... cant seem to find the signal display in 11.3

    4) ive tried with and without boosters.

    5) all images used i have put the magic files on correctly

lastly... i hate hearing off the ex, and if anyone can enlighten me why both boxes went down together and a possible resolve for 11.3 it would be greatly appriciated =)

ps no onr i know has received nag3 here yet... im not sure if its hit brum yet.

Press the blue button and do the setmylocation feature turn fast scan on red to save and try scanning then.

ive tried that with all the brum locations with a reboot and fast scan ... nothing...

ive noticed on the com12 that when i do a brute force the freq just says "0" through all 306 transponders... where as you all know should cycle through all of the diff freqs. Thats kinda odd isnt it?

Please read post #60 in this thread then backtrack to post #1 in the same thread, and all your problems will be solved!!

What's the point of our supporting an image with regular updates from ongoing development, feedback, and bug reports, if no ~~~~er bothers to stay in touch with the thread?

        Cheers- AL

I was on "another site" but they are no cable free , when you do a search there is SOOOO much to read. so many sites so many pages so many contridicting data.

I did search to start with on here but all the "my dbox has gone down" posts were all the same... "rescan rescan rescan" i am all for reading and im all fairness i did do a few searches. searches for dbox fix finds over a 1000 pages.

But now (this msgs is before reading the suggested info) i will give it a read.

Thank you for the point out.

ok had a gander... thank you. makes sense...

no one likes to repeat themselves ie you saying i should have read your post for example... without meaning this in a negative way, would it not be easier and less strain on you to release a full commando 12.1... image to save people like myself giving you this headach question

            ps...
I know my area is 41011 but we do have a section of brum (druids heath/kings norton) which is 41015... the problem is were on a private drive and our road is the border. even with fast scon on either only ever finds a very limited number of channels, even misses out BBC1... i have to take the box a few roads over to 41011 and fast scan the box and bring it back to work. so its a bit of a head ache really for me. but i personally think were in 41015 as i did a V+ box (which last tennants left in the house) and had to put a blank chip on to go into 41011 area...

anyway total babble and ive gone on way to much
