hi all,i am new to all this,my dbox keeps frezzing on all chanels and comes back when it wants or i have to turn over and back again, this happens all the time just as your getting in to it,i have read through the fourms and i think i need to try a different image but not sure what one,i think it is running snapshot,what one would you recomend to try first,i live in portsmouth if that makes any differents,thanks for any help,kev

You could try changing the Ucodes m8...not sure about the layout of that image but you can try presing the blue button to see if the Ucode options are there. It may also be a signal issue, do you have any spltters on the line.
Theres a lot of newer images about of late but you will need to have 5 posts before you can download any of them but you can still read about them in Dbox section.sigpic -

i have tryed changing the ucoads but it didnt make any difference,
i do have a splitter as ive got broad band i havent tryed taking it out yet as i need a joiner,but will try as soon as i get one(shop tomorrow)
my signal is around 61500 and i read it needs to be between 62000 & 64000
if this is the problem then what do i need to do as i need the spliter for internet,thanks again,kevComment

if it is a signal issue you could get a signal booster for it. Best to try another image though as it may save you the money, they are less than ?10 but no sense paying for one if its not needed.sigpicComment
