Hi I am in need of some help please, I have just flashed a new image to my dbox 2, 2 x image (as I have done successfully before) but this time I must have used a bad image as the lcd now states "kein image" and I cannot connect to the box via ftp or IFA. Is there a way out for me please ?

when it says kein it means you have flashed with wron image you have put 2x on 1x or the other way round you need ifa software to flash null modem cable or crossover cable

I have tried that but it does not want to talk to the box, I am using windows 7 but am going to set up a dual boot with xp to try and connect. But I am unsure of the correct IP to use.

no ip address necessary with IFA as it assigns its own

when you use ifa sometimes it does not connect strieght away,watch lcd readout if kein system comes up unplug then put plug in immediatly,you might need to do this a few times one after another,just watch lcd untill you see hallenburge then its flashing
