    DBOX NO SIGNAL AFTER FLASH

    HELP NEEDED PLEASE.
    I WRONGLY FLASHED MY NOKIA DBOX WITH WRONG CHIPSET(X1 INSTEAD OF X2)AND GOT THE KIEN SYSTEMS ERROR MESSAGE.I FLASHED AGAIN WITH RIGHT CHIPSET IMAGE AND REBOOTED.ALL WENT WELL UNTIL I CANT GET ANY CHANNELS OR EPG,ITS LIKE THE AERIAL CABLE ISNT IN.IS MY BOX DEAD OR CAN IT BE SAVED.

    hi m8 take ur caps lock off ur shouting , first when u re flashed with proper image did the box re boot its self or did u force the re boot? if u have to force a re boot after an image flash something as gone wrong, flash again but wait for the box to self boot...

      what image have you flashed?

      you'll need to set your location first (under the blue button) before scanning or it'll just finish after 2 seconds.

        using ifa,have to unplug to restart,reflashed about 5 times and still same

          hi m8 may be worthwile checking the tune, red button on remote scroll down to blue button ber/sig.snr/..

            hi,ber is staying at 26214,snr is jumping up and down around 46000 and so is sig.but all im getting is channel not available,no epg nothing

              snr needs to be 55K + chk aerial / cable connection isn't loose....and u have scanned for ur area? or transferred services file?

                ive got a sagem here on the same connection and that works ok,alls the nokia is saying is waiting for time,ive backed up the image from the sagem with services files and flashed it to the nokia

                  sounds like weak tuner, or loose connector, try a booster if u got 1....

                    cant try a booster i havnt got one yet,when i scan i get the transponders but no channels are found

                      thanks for your help guys,sorted the dbox now.i had to flash an image which had area selection,then do a fast scan.alls good.again thanks for your help

                        hi again mate,the problem was when i ftp my services files from my other sagem box which works fine the nokia would just say waiting for time and no epg(like cable isnt connected).i reflashed with another image with an au fix,set my location and scanned,i picked up channels,woooowooooo.ftp my bouquet files only and sorted.thanks for your help
