Null modem cable or not?

I have owned my dbox 2 nokia for sometime now but last year I tried to update the image and flashed the wronfg one over (no boot file) and since then its been dead. Tried re flashing/installing images etc but no joy.

can I install an image just using a ethernet cable or do I have to use a null modem cable?I did follow the guidlines on here last time but got no joy at all so wondered if I had to use the null cable.

Im eager to get it working again else its just a waste.

Any advice appreciated.

Use portable ifa to flash new/correct image to box

hi m8 no need for the null moden cable, use ifa crossover cable thats all u need to flash ur box...

did you update the image by ftping image to temp folder, and used the remote to flash box using the flash whitout bootloader option?
