Image keeps freezing

I'm using gav's FTA image, only prob i have is that maybe every 20 mins or so, the screen freezes for about 15 secs, signal strength is good, any ideas?

If you're using mgcamd, switch to evocamd.

Remove the modem board from inside the dbox as this isn't used. This increases air flow within the box and reduces the load on the power supply. It's a long shot but might help.

Do you have the box on top of another device, i.e. dvd player, etc. or something on top of the dbox? Could be temperature related if the air vents are blocked. Try removing the lid and running it with it off for a few hours to see if it improves.

i doesnt have evocamd on it, only mgcamd from what i can see, where can i source evocamd to put on it?

I'm not familiar with this image so don't know what menus it has, etc. Are you sure you can't change the emu using one of the options in the blue button menu? Or is there a menu to enable it somewhere? Seems strange that there's only 1 emu in it.

I PM'd you, must've just missed you though, i've put pacino V3 on, but i am looking for an image with logos, she says it looks nicer!

Hi mate I'v the same problem. Anyway try using the Vortex Ucode. It hasent fixed the problem but its alot better ( Freezing only every hour now ).
