faulty tuner?? or did i do it wrong

im trying to fix a friends sagem dbox2 (meh i have eurovox )
anyway i put commando 12 x1 image on it and also the update , added magic files chmod the ones i needed to do
select location did fast scan ..... picked up 307 transponders no channels found
brute force scan ..... picked up 307 transponders no channels found



hmmmmm so i thought i'll try something else so i flashed it with umm ultraphat apocalypse added magic files chmod etc the ones i needed to do
select location did fast scan ..... picked up 376 transponders no channels found
brute force scan ..... picked up 376 transponders no channels found


sooo am i missing something here or is it broken
oh and signal is good my eurovox is running fine

check the tuner m8, red button then blue button shows u the ber/sig/snr..

As the box ever worked
Run boot manager with a null and post resullts here in a tx doc
Will tell if your tuners goofed or not ..........Paul

thanks i got this on screen
ber max = 262143
ber min = 100000
snr max = 30561
snr min = 22136
sig max = 65535
sig min = 65535
birtate is all 0

ok so i guess the blue line in the middle
snr max = 30561 is a little low so i squashed the aerial connector on the dbox so it was very tight fit
now its at

snr max = 64708
snr min = 64708
sig max = 61984
sig min = 61984

all colours are now at the top of the chart


......... bruteforce scan transponder scan failed

Tuner dosent seem to be registering correctly mate
It should read

DVB: registering frontend 0:0 (VES1820 based DVB-C frontend)...
so may be faulty or unseated ........Paul

you could try takin out any splitters on the feed and tryin
direct to the feed
