accidently flashed lincsat image to cable box

please can someone help me i acidently flashed a lincsat image to my cable box,now the screen has gone off,the power light is still on,is it knackered or can i just flash a cable image to it,i have tried to flash it with a null modem and crossover cable and i have had no joy,i have run out of ideas pls can anyone help

Bit more information please, lincsat images are for dbox2 so i'm going to assume you've flashed it to your dbox2. What do you mean by accidently where you trying to update you're image? Is your box a nokia or a sagem, is your box a 1 or 2 chip?

i flashed my cable box with the new lincast image X2,it flashed all ok but i didnt reboot ,the front screen went blank and nothing happens,dont know whats happened

Download IFA from Hallenberg and give that a try, if not then telenet is always an option

Probably a corrupt flash try reflashing with IFA. Dont know if you used this last time as you haven't said what method you used. You will need a crossover cable to connect to your pc and a null modem cable is optional but i'd recommend it.

You did extract the image from the .rar archive didn't you? Did you try re-booting the box?
