    [IMAGE] Lincsat Beta7-FTA

Here's a new Image for your consideration - in the downloads.

Built from the CVS of 13/10/2008.

Includes the UK Mods, LCD-EPG, Channel Icons, Tuxweather with Webcams, Location scanning & the Key copy for Gbox feature.

Set your Location from the Blue Button menu and you're ready to scan. SPTS mode and UCODE0014 are ON by default.

With Special thanks to all the UK Modders.

    Important Note:
This is a FTA Image with no Keys or Emu's installed. The EMU's have been removed from /bin/emu and the Nagra Rom files removed from /var/keys - There is a Dummy keyfile in there, leave that alone.

Do not use this image to receive any channels that you do not pay for.

Heya chaps... just downloaded this new lincsat image and installed it onto my Sagem 1x box... seems to run quite well, but having a slight issue with the channels.

Selected my area and did a channel scan, it seems to of successfully found all the channels, but when i try to watch them (although the EPG tells me whats supposed to be on the screen) no image or sound comes up, except for a intermittant crackling noise...

Anyone got any idea whats going on here... if this is something you dont feel too comfortable answering on this forum, PM me your email or a message saying your willing to help and ill find a more private (hidden) corner of the internet to talk with you !

                      ok, so if i backed up those files;

-boutiques and services xml files from the config/tuxbox folder
                      -ke*ys from var/keys
-emu's from somewhere (there wasnt an emu folder in the bin folder, but found one somewhere else with evocamd and mgcamd in it)

But i get the impression its not just a simple case of copying those files back into the corresponding directory's in lincsat !

                        Services.xml and bouquets.xml file from /var/tuxbox/config/zapit.

                        All files from /var/keys.

                        And the emu files.

The services and bouquets and key files are a simple case of copy over (select reload channels option in service menu to reload channels after copying services and bouquets). Not sure about the emu because not got my dbox running at the moment.

                          sort of

                          k*ey folder in var
                          emu in bin
bouquets and service files in var/tuxbox/config/zapit

need to change the cams permissions in the emu folder to 755 (chmod) if using flashfxp right click on each of the cams u will see attributes (chmod)
