SNR is 0 (zero)!! No signal?

Hi all


After recently restoring an image (.img) to the dbox2 cable box, I did the SNR test on this box with the restored image on it, and I'm getting 0(zero) for all 3 values?

I then went next door (house next door) and tested it there, and the same thing.

It just so happens too, that the box is displaying "channel not available" and "waiting for time" even for the FTA channels..

with the feed straight to the telly however, all the FTA channels are good.
ALSO - with the feed in the box, and av cable from the tuner out to the telly, and the box switched on, the FTA channels are still good on the telly - meaning that the tuner is not goosed and that the FTA channels are still on the feed.

any ideas any one?

that's exactly what I've done, but instead of using the usual IFA method, i've restored a working image on to it.

The question lies with, where could the fault be?

with the image?
the scan settings?
is there a problem with the feed?

have you tried to restore the image more than once?? if not then do so.

Fresh image is really the only way your going to solve this, download DK1.1 from the forum and put it on your box. Get keys from your old file first
