means something is blocking the network
antivirus,firewall, other networkcard,etc disable them all except the networkcard you are using.
give the networkcard a static ip of 192.168.1.201
subnet 255.255.255.0
set it to 10baseT_halfduplex and try flashing it again
also try rennys portable version of IFA.

This will show you how to set your networkcard to 10baseT_halfduplex and give it a static ip

If doing that dont work you could try flashing it with the nullmodem cable only method here

Did you try flashing it will the nullmodem cable only method

it happend to me today, and all i did was reflash my box, and its back on a running (for now)!

chris the same thing happened to me have you changed your router?? i found that when i plug my new router up problems start as sson as i plug my old one in again get straight into the menu

hi guys just an update to my dbox prob, box is all up an runnin now ide like to thank evryone who helped me sort it, and a special thanks go out to fergal and plasterer without ur input i feal the box would of gone in the bin thanks again, chris......

Can i bump this and ask for some help with my dbox2 nokia please. I only know its got a commando 11.2 (2) image on it. Just a shame to bin it really when it cud be used. Any advise appreciated, thanks guys.
