    recording to internal hard disk....

Can some one please talk me through how to connect a HDD internally in a DBOX2 and what software or image i would need to record to this...??

a normal 3.5" hdd is what i need but is there a limit in the size it has to be..? does it need to be formatted before putting in..?

    your help would be appreciated....

    This is what you need...

Nokia IDE Hard Disk Interface Kit - DVB Shop Online

The NJWORLD image has the hdd interface menus. You format the hard disk using the menus on the image.

The image would need to support a SAMBA filesystem (SMBFS). I can't remember off the top of my head which images support this but it's hard to get it connected and working good.

Ever seen a HDD addon for a SAGEM? [NT]

I've been googling without much luck. If I would need a Nokia, I may just hunt for another type of box - may end up cheaper

you can pick up a clone 600c pvr for around ?125 then all you need to do is put in the 2.5" hard drive of your choice.
