flashing problem

dbox was working fine then could not change channels or shut down so pulled plug and now it will not boot up when i try to flash new image with ifa or hyperterminal i get this message on both

can not tell you what it say on dbox screen as it is fuxxxx

never seen or used a d box but can you not use a null modem lead to re flash the box

yes with hyperterminal getting same error

have tried it all put keep getting the same error thanks for your help if you have any other ideas let us know

If you have ICS, (Internet Connection Sharing), enabled. Try turning it off and try IFA again. You can turn it off (using XP) by clicking Start - Control panel - Network and Internet Connections - Network Connections.

Then right click local area connection, click properties - advanced. If you see ICS enabled, untick it and press OK.

had the similar problem. solved with null-modem cable
