why are people binning their dboxes ???

just becos everywhere has gone N3 and your dbox can only
get a few channels,why are people binning the boxes ?????
you can still use the dbox as a media center to stream music and films from pc

Because most people can't be bothered going out of their way to set it up for that. Plus not many people want to listen to music from their tv's and you can simply watch movies on your pc or burn them to a dvd which are only about 30p if you need to watch it on a tv.
As I said in another thread the only thing I'd keep it for is streaming the likes of sopcast, but then again I might as well just watch that on my pc too.

Nearly every device streams media or can be used as a part of a Media center, be it a Xbox360, PS3 or a newer type of linux based receiver these days, holding onto something now defunked, is nothing more than a dust catcher or Door Stop.

Better to bin it and move on ....

u will be waiting a lot longer than 6 months for a fix for nag3 m8. try about 10 years to never, even if there was, something will be waiting to replace it.

people need to move on from this N3 it here to stay for a very long time.we would all like something to happen.. but it aint.i just gald i had sat system to fall back on. and so much better and more enjoyable as a hobby
