    dbox stuck on boot

I flashed a new image to my dbox2 but now it gets stuck on boot, displaying loading kernel?
now I cant connect to the box by ftp either?
I have tried image flash assistent but it will not flash to the box.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

IFA is your only way out mate, try different versions and keep trying it dosen't always flash first time sometimes it takes a few turn ons and offs before it catches.

i've never needed a null modem cable to flash with ifa, and it's a crossover ethernet cable needed to connect to the box.

using a crossover ethernet cable and a null modem cabel.

couple of points to consider here, IFA can be a bastard at times

I find this works for me

set network card on PC to 10 MB Half Duplex (you will need to do this thru the driver of the network card)

            disable any anti-virus application
