Hi i found this somewhere just now tried it works so i thought i will share it. it,s better then the keymaster because it gets the K*ys and writes to keylist.txt as well i don,t know who created this so all credit to the creator

i dont get why someone asks if you need to be constantly connected to the net for it to work. it must get the keys from the net.

we all ask questions that nees answering mate, sometimes to some they sound silly but we're all here to help each other, with the auto update images released in april there was no need for constant internet connectivity i wasn't sure if it was a plug in for the box image that auto updated when the keys rolled or not that is all i wanted to know. not everyone with a dbox has internet access so before i get their hopes hope telling them there is a fix i just wanted clarification!!

your box needs to be connected to a router in order to get an IP, people without routers won't be able to use this I don't think!

No it doesnt...
As long as you have network access to your box it wil just ftp the keylist.txt file over....just the same as when you use an ftp program.

Its very basically like the keymaster program but with a very simple bolted on ftp part to send the keylist.txt file over to var/keys on your dbox.

Hello all ..........again.

Having a bit of a mare with this folks.

Just to re-cap.

I have Blade quad, Sagem Dbox2, Kingston, Surrey area (TW).

As this was my 1st attept at ever connecting my box to my pc, I used Flashfxp to ftp this file into the vars/keys folder, transfering the actual .exe file. Not sure whether tis was right or wrong.

Re-booted - and nothing but the EPG and a blank screen. Then I thought (doh!), let me actually 'use' the autoupdater, so presseed 'write files tab', entered IP, password etc etc... pressed FTP tab.. and still... not much happened.

I've pinged my box and thats fine...

What am I doing wrong guys?.... i'm loosing 'even' more hair over this. Plus the kids are doing my head in..!

Any help in getting my channels back would be a god-send!
