help connecting dbox to pc

hi
i recently connect my dbox to my pc through my router.. i then messed bout with my ip on my dbox now i cant connect to my dox with filezilla.. but not only that but my dbox now doesnt load so i cant chk my ip adress..
can any1 help me plz.

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM THIS WEEK
DONT CONNECT THROUGH YOUR ROUTER CONNECT DIRECT TO YOUR NETWORK CARD YOU MUST USE A CROSS OVER CABLE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT WIRING TO THE NORMAL CABLE I WONT BOTHER PUTTING THE REST DOWN UNTILL YOU KNOW THAT YOU HAVE THE RIGHT CABLE

I forget to say for exemple:

If the dbox IP: 192.168.1.5
Filezilla IP the same as your Dbox
local area connection should be: 192.168.1.4

Local area Connection one number less at the end of IP address of your Dbox.

As Ted said you need to reflash with IFA.
Also don't worry about connecting through a router, its fine. And feel free to change your ip. You don't have to have the one given to you. Just ensure the first 3 octets are the same as your network. The last octet can be anything you want.
