Channels stopped!

Well IFA wouldn't take an hour so it has either flashed corectly or it hasn't. Only one way to try and thats to restart it, what have you to lose, if its a bad flash it will need flashed again and if its a good flash then you can get on with watching the free telly.

Don't give up hope just yet, flashing with IFA and without a null modem can be hit and miss, you may want to try a few different versions of IFA. Version 2.2 is pretty solid.

I have listed a guide to flashing using only a crossover cable and IFA.

This is not my work, it is from a member (Rodboy) on my friends list from another forum and it works more often that not, so you may want to give it a couple of tries.

tried as u said but it still says WAITING FOR DBOX START....
I cannot get IFA to install the image........any ideas?

The only other thing I can suggest is to get a null modem cable and try that.

6952, is a choice of transponder, that is scanned to bring up your channels, once scanned it will finish and tell you how many channels it has found.
In "Channel Scan" option it is the fourth option from the top called " Area", and by pressing O.K. at this option you will see the options change, from one transponder to other transponders which might hold more or less channels.

Don't bin it yet! you're not far away!

Not sure if you ubderstand. The box wont even come on!. Cannot reflash with IFA. Box looks like the power cut fried it. Image has been lost and it dont look like anything can be dome with it. such a shame thanks to the power cut!

hi ok i got the image on the box after the hundreth attempt !! YIPPEEE!!!!.. ok next problem i set my location and after doing a scan it only found 108 tv channels where before there were some 340 TV Channels....tried a re-scan and again only 108 TV Channels...

any ideas??..many thanks

could be a bad connecion yes, but likely to be files on box,i would start again find the magic files folder ftp it ,rom 7 fixftp it ,delete other roms 10,11 just rom 7`s should be on and other files...this will be something simple probably the service file,had you got backups of your previous working file?...m

no do not have backups of the old fiiles........done what you said above but still the same........any ideas about BRUTEFORCE UK? i dont gethis selection on my scan page

i think bruteforce is available on some image but not all? i however would start again on all issues as said....m

anyone know which images Bruteforce is on?....I need to reflash with Bruteforce as I am only getting 100 channels where before i got 300+
please help.........
