Save your bouquets file and services to your pc using ftp, then put the new image into tmp folder (make sure you have the correct one, either 1x or 2x)
To flash an image, go into:
dbox
service
image upgrade
Flash One partition
Flash WITHOUT Bootloader
Make sure you select flash without bootloader mate.
Also if you want more than FTA, you'll need a full image, which you should be able to find on the chatterbox toolbar. Hope this helps

When you say if I want more than FTA then i will need the FULL IMAGE - Well I did have all the channels until i disconnected the box from mains for 5 minutes and then they all went. I do not understand it. I have tried tranferring all the NEw Fix files into VAR/KEYS and rebooted and still nothing.Comment

If you had a power cut whilst flashing then the only way now is to use IFA image flashing assistant, you will need a cross over ethernet cable and ideally a null modem cable, you will then be able to flash your box again.Something definelty going on.

Ok i have tried this and the IFA screen just reads "WAITING FOR DBOX START" when the flashing is started. It looks like it is not recognising that the DBOX is on.........need some help on this.
IS the Waiting for Dbox to stat normal?Last edited by punjabi boy; 4 December, 2008, 12:12.Comment
