No LED Light on front panel

hello

I have by mistake uploaded a 2x image ( lakys ) onto a 1x sagem box , intially i saw the kein system error message on the front LED display but after a few mins the green led light disappeared.


Now trying to flash the proper image via IFA i get no response , i also tried accessing the box via hyperterminal but again i do not see any response or any logs via the terminal.

However if i press the power button on the control i do see the red light flicker on the front but besides this the box appears to be totally unresponsive.

Is the box blown , or is there something else i can do to recover the box

Any help on this would be appreciated

I have almost same problem. Nothing at all when the box is turned on. The power cut while i was reflashing. Any ideas? PLEASE HELP!!

Some more information when i try to use IFA , i get the following message

The UDP port 67 and or 68 is in use . the bootp server would not work !!

i have disabled all network e.g bluetooth , wiresless etc devices besided the LAN connection.


I also have tried different versions of IFA as well

Make sure you've turned off all firewalls, including the windows one.

Box just says "Waiting for Dbox start" . Looks like my box was fied when i had a power cut during reflash. NEed another box

thanks for the reply , i tried the null modem method before , and i can not get any prompts on the terminal window e.g pressing the front arrow etc..

however looking at the front led i can see the kein system message ( without the green led light ) vaguely this appears and disapepars if i power on / off

When i used null modem only i had to try a couple of times pressing power on and holding up then releasing it before it worked.

I put a 2x image on a 1x sagem yesterday. Just used ifa to put a 1x image back on, took a few attemps but worked

ok so it looks like the box is gone , any recomendations as to the quickest way i can get a dbox or preferably a dreambox as in within the next day , thanks

scarface wot program r u on i had same problem and i was using vista but got mine sorted now

hi littlelou , i am using windows xp and had the commando 6 image , sagem dbox 2
