Dbox2 flash gone a bit wrong

Hi there i used the tutorial on how to flash dbox2 using a null modem cable, i did everything as told and the flash worked however the image ive used is apparently getrman so all the menu system is in german( I used Neutrino SPorster 1.10)

Now would it be better if i used another image and if so which one is the latest and best image to use. Once i have done that how will i get the channels back up and running so that the keys get updated automatically as i plan on buying the croosver cable tomorrow and hopefully get the box reflashedto english language and hopefully havethe dbox2 working again

You can get the keys folder below, just extract to your pc then ftp to /var/keys

then you need to apply the fixed roms, get then below and extract to your pc and ftp to /var/keys, overwriting the other ones.

The options for language are called "Sprachen" or something like that. In there you'll see the english option, But that's not your biggest problem. Best to use a uk modified image like Andromeda or Blade.

one last lil question when i connenct the dbox with the crossover cable to my pC should my internet be turned off? or am i supposed to have that on

and ive got the image you posted just need to reflash my box and hopefully get the crossover cable and give it a go

No need to turn off net connection, you can surf and ftp at same time if needed.

Just done it, flashed and updated adn everything is working
