i have put the new laky-pro on my sagem dbox using the null modem cable, do i just need to fxp rom 7 or do i need to enter the keys. i did have the commando image put rom 7 on, deleted the others and had nothing but fta and the ppv event that was on lastnight.need some help, cheers

you need to set your location - blue button then set location

ftp the roms and keys

if you have a copy ftp the services.xml and bouquet.xml (channel list)

so just to confirm its only rom 7 and the up-to-date keys from key master that i need to enter. thanks jfish for your reply, sorry for being a noob

You only need to put the rom 7 files on (should have 3 rom 7 files in all) go to an encryted channel and it will get the new keys itself

There are rom 10 and 11 files now that can be put into the scce folder as well.

These can be used but are not essential, will work fine with just the rom 7 files.

thanks for your help but i'm still having trouble. i set my location on dbox, put roms 7,10,11 into the var/keys using fxp, i have all the channels but no picture. i'm doing a scan but nothing is happening. nothing showing on the transponders and frequency is set at 666750000 and the radar thing is just spinning, please help!!!

Does the scan find all your channels, and if so have you left it on say sksports1 for a few min.

What area are you in.

the scan isn't doing anything just spinning and spinning, i'm in colchester (pure ntl) so i selected essex 1. i did leave it for quite a while on ssports1

Check your symbol rate in the scanning menu, if its 6887 scroll to it press ok on it and change it to 6952 save and reboot then do a scan

the roms usually go in the scce folder

now,after about 10 seconds of scanning it comes up with error no channels were found, please execute a scan

Ok the first one was right then, may be worth re-flasahing your image to the box and try again.

yeah i tried putting yhem in the keys folder, but they automatically show up in the scce folder. i tried it the other way around but made no differance. starting to get confused
