what box do i have

hi all
i am trying to update a friends box but i dont know what box i have.its still in its original box (i think) its says on the box thats its a eurovox max 2006.the box is blue.but i have tried to up date the box with the latest firmware but i get a error

is this box a clone then

the box is silver and has one scart socket.any help will be great peeps
