try this connect your box to your telly dont put the scart lead in and put in a video lead from your telly to the box and a box will appear on your screen with a code box put in the master code 1004 and you will be able to get into your box then put your scart back in and you should be able to scan it(sorry first you will need to put the old clone software on the box) it worked for me and I got 2 boxes back up and working

box worked fine down stairs moved it upstairs now says 8000 onit cant do anything no menu just turn on and off
