    Help with running a scan

    Hi all,

I've just successfully (I hope!) flashed my eurovox max and need help with the scanning.
I have read the article that was posted by the moderator but my settings differ from his.
Basically I have done a factory default, then gone into the user installation as suggested . I press the yellow button for power scan and the following is shown:
    START 100.00 MHZ
    STOP 870.00 MHZ
    SYMBOL RATE 6.887 MBAUD
    SYMBOL RATE 0000
    SYMBOL RATE 0000
    SYMBOL RATE 0000
    STEP 8

I have downloaded the symbol rate list I needed and have the to put in the following codes:

    NET ID FREQ Symbol Rate
    00004 755.000 6.887

    Where do I enter these?

    PLEASE HELP

    Thanks in advance

Agree with delboy13 full power scan should find all the channels for you. However you may find setanta sp etc. are sometimes hidden in the BICS channels (so check there), also if you find that you are missing anything u can manually add a channel going into user install enter 0000 add new channel add new channel number enter freq 755.000 and your symbol rate save it, tick the channel you just added (ok button) and manually scan that channel (blue button) I think! That will find all channels on 755.000 freq. Or download a .cdf file for your area (not sure where u are but see attached cdf for mancheter area).

A link to your CDF in downloads would have done, I nearly got whiplash getting to the end of the page. What area does the abbreviation MCR relate to?

        Cheers.
I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer. - Douglas Adams
