Hi I jtagged my box 2 to blue it worked fine but when updating new firmware it froze so I disconected the mains it died no lights on front panel since any ideas?

Re j-tag and put clone safe firmware on should be ok.

No lights on front, cant connect for Jtag or firmware update, says reset box.

Power is getting to main board cos I got a shock, but from the top of a large capacitor C5? dont think this should be live. Heeeeeeeelp anyone.

If no light on front you may have blown board cant think of anything if you cant conect to box mate

If it is the board you could spend around 15 quid on a new one?
Have you checked the voltages to the mainboard?
You may find that they are there but quite a bit higher than what is printed on PSU. Just another option

Hi have got 240V going in. dont know howto check low voltage. Also got 240v off the top of a big capacitor found out the shocking way. Any ideas? Where can I get a new power board for e.vox 2?
