I take it your already subscribed to cable? if so, yes once the box has been flashed you sould be able to receive all channels, any probs give me a shout....good luck!

yes i have cable subscription should recieve my box tomorrow or monday. i was just worried about needing codes.

brought a eurovox 1000sl no firmware on ive scaned it found all the channels but they are all scrambled tried to download firmware but dosent find box flickers between ports 1 and 3 i know the cable is ok as i have flashed a old eurovox max i have but having probs with this any one help

yes mate flickers between ports 1-3 firmware is ex1000sl-darx-01-12-08 its a new box i brought from a place in bradford but iam sick of contacting them ive flased a box before with no problems me eurovox max so pc ok cable ok etc

hi there, ive just tried mine after a lot of messing around, and mine started to flick between 1 & 3. i just clicked start and i my case i selected com1 cos thats my only choice of set up three is not available...going to try it now to see if it works

com1 works first and should update fine hope this helps

well after reading reading &reading &more reading, then putting into the practice it gave the impression it was finding all channels. whenfinally finished all what was found was 36 channels of crap...so reload with firmware again this time scanned with no spliter connected and it found over 220 channels but all it does now is quote the famous menu " please wait, code being updated " so i am leaving the over night... whats this all about ?
sorry mate this does not really help you , maybe when i have had time to calm down i can go through what i have done today to get this far,cos i feel i was in the same boat as your self...maybe it needs a firmware that can work properly, if i get replies back saying it does, whats the problem then ? we all know its a case of download , connect,download and connect again and scan could not be more simple...easier said than done ah !!!!
