do you know which program i need to download to flash a digivox.. its a silver digital receiver box

I have a code on the box but not sure if its relevent but the number is digivox kdv0711 01149

hi satsmo i downloaded this file but it is coming out in a digivox_z_v4200_api format and the file tye is VLC media file(.bin) is this correct?

If you have VLC on your PC it will default to that for opening the binary. You need to use downloader 10 to load the Digivox bin.

hi this will sound a bit silly now but here goes...

i uninstalled VLC hoping that i could extract the files in the zip folder but now its now saying windows can not ope this file, i googled downloader 10 but no results so went to downloads.com and its not on there either...

do you kno where i could download the program from to extract the file?

Just ignore where its says the old bin file and replace it with the one you have.

hey satsamo thanks for the information, i have downloaded the program and guide on how to flash the box.... however more problems...

i have changed the COM to COM3 as this is the only option which will start up the download part as the other ones dont start it when i have chosen the file which I have downloaded, however when the pop up box opens to say download it does not progress and is just stuck on at the start,

This I feel might be down to me not having the software for the rs232 cable, I downloaded the program for this but now that program is asking for the serial number to fix this,

I am so lost on this, please can you advise me on how to fix this,

Hi Satsmo, I have got the software for the rs232 now and i have installed it which worked fine, but when I tried to put the softeware on, I did everything as before when I selected COM3 and connected all the cables up but nothings is downloading onto the box its just stuck on 0, please advise,

yes , i am having same prob with mine , have not sorted it yet but will let you know soon as i do , i have found if you put codes in by remote it will work like that till prob is solved , you will find codes on keymaster....dave
