code updating, blank screen

just flashed my new ex1000sl and fast installed and all channels where found but only freeview ones could be seen. all the rest have blank screen with the words "please wait updating codes" i am well stressed. does anyone know how to solve this problem without taking box apart. thanks

red stickies at top of eurovox page firmware fix 1/12/08 darx and you need a null cable to put new fix on
