just thought i would let people now the fix for ex5000 still works. I downloaded it last month. nothing wrong with it..so why are people having problem's with it. if uve got a clone i don't think this firmware fix will work on it. so u need to look and see on the top of the threads in the forum for eurovox where it says sticky threads in red u will get all the info off them. but just don't look at the first couple of post.. read them all there mite be more info on there that u mite miss. (big thanks to the lads who keep uss up to date with the fix..s

Your in the UK so yes it is fine for you but Ireland went down on the 18th Dec so people from there had to use the same firmware as the UK which was released towards the end of November.
BTW to stop any confusion the top couple of stickies have been updated and have the correct firmware to use for UK and Ireland.

hi there i downloaded the new firmware for my ex5000 at start of december and its fine. lost setanta channels but got them back by performing a deep scan.Comment

im in london and got a new ex5000, loaded the new firmware but still says "please wait code updating", is the firmware not working in london?
tried manually entering the codes (got em off bigmaq toolbar) but these aint working
