Problem loading Eurovox TX with new software

I cannot get my PC to communicate with my Eurovox TX using new MMDS software - any suggestions ?

I have a null modem cable but when I try to load a file from PC to Eurovox TX nothing happens.

That's why I said read down the page, the instructions on how to configure your PC for your Null modem cable is there, you need to set it up in your device manager on your PC, refer to the already explained tutorial.

Edit; to add I know the Tut is for a USB adapter but it works the same for the Null modem cable.

I use my Null Modem cable for other Cable boxes and also for Sat boxes regularily without any problems so I guess my PC is already enabled to work. But I am having no luck with Eurovox TX.

On the loader you will see a drop down box (Port) try on com 1, then try com2, then 3, then 4.

Have tried all 4 ports. Ports 1 & 3 are the only ones which I can use. I get a failed message on ports 2 & 4. I have tried with Eurovox TX switched on and also where I have switched the Eurovox on immediately after hitting download but nothing happens.

Press execution on the loader with your box turned off at the mains, wait about 5 secs then plug it back in. Try that on each port.

Tried it on both ports 1 & 3 but all I get is - boot followes by 2 and then On but no file downloads happening.

Nothing else to suggest apart from reading through the tutorial or trying with another cable on another PC.

Hi there Hitech, just wondered if you have remedy for rmote not woking when trying to setup Eurovox tx. Maybe i need to upload firmware. Batts are fine, its a new unit so i'm hoping not a hardware issue...what do you think?
