Silver Eurovox 2

Hi folks, just wondered if any one had a solution to an original silver eurovox 2 that accepts the new fix but after 24 hrs or so looses the directory of channel names.

Only the downloaded channels are still in the boxes memory but with no names.
You can scroll down the programme menu but you cannot see the names of the channels you want to watch and so it is not easy to identify them any more.
If i download fix again then channel names re appear but then dissapear after 24hrs or so.

I have used Dnupman with version 1 as you have to manually install the fix with the silver eurovox 2, where as you don't need Dnupman with the newer blue/red and pvr 500 boxes it loads it automatically for you.

I am a novice and found the dnupman not as easy to do, but managed my pvr500 very easily. Any ideas!!!!!!

When flashing box with firmware do a factory reset first and turn off power for 30 seconds,switch back on and download, then power scan.

If this doesn't fix the problem.A temp fix to get channel info back on menu screens is just reboot the box.

Thanks for that info.
The reflashing hasn't cured the problem this time.
Although the advice about reebooting has done a temporary fix and at least i can find channels even though it means reebooting the box every day. You don't appreciate what you have until you can't get it anymore.
