    Eurovox Max V 2008 problem

Hi, I have a Eurovox Max v 2008 (Black) which is 4 months old. I had problems with electrics in my house the other day and the power was on and off several times. Since then my box has developed a problem. When powered up the red light comes on 4 greeen dashes appear in the window and then all lights/dashes go off for a second before reappearing and going through the same process. Have tried to re-flash, dnld appears in the window flashing on and off until 20 seconds into the writing stage when it remains constant and after 60 seconds "download is failed" appears and the box goes back into the coming on and off routine. The C14 capacitor showed signs of being blown (bulging at top) so I have replaced that, I have also Jtagged it but problem still exists. The only other thing I can think of is replacing the PSU but dont want to if it doesnt cure the problem. Anyone else out there have any ideas ?

Have you tried the outputs from the PSU with a multimeter.

Hi all, have today establised that its NOT the PSU as I borrowed a box swapped the PSUs around and mine works fine in the one I borrowed. It looks like its a problem on the main board somewhere but I have no idea where to look or check I can hear the lid being taken off the bin.

sorry no fix but power on and off shouldn't have damaged really.
