Eurovox recording issues

I know nothing in life is easy ..


Thats how i knew when i bought my Eurovox EX5100 it was never gonna be easy.


Anyway .. i seem to be having delay issues when pausing live TV - seems theres a 30 second delay once you hit pause.


Is this a hardware problem or something that can be fixed with an firmware update ?

Sorry that's how it works. Unlike SLY+ that pauses in real time the Eurovox actually records the "delay" to hard disk, so it needs to set it up. If you look in the recorded area after you watched the paused section you will see the recording

you seem to be a lot more experienced than me
I just got my hard drive a couple of days ago
I've found I can only use PVR on the station I am watching or if recording I cannot change to another channel
Is this normal ?

Hi m8, this is normal as this box only has one tuner so you are limited to what you can watch and record at the same time.
The only way its possible if both the channel(watch and record) are on the same transponder.
