No you don't flash with the clone safe blue, there is no clonesafe firmware for the red EV, you will have to put the old firmware on it and update it manually. -
just make sure it is a red clone m8 ,check this thread.

i have just downloaded that red old firmware and it says only use on originals i have a red clone my head is busting ha ha sorry to bother you again i know how to download the software to boxs but i am a little fuzzy about old firmware and what boxs you need to put it on cheers againComment

no m8 it wont auto update with old firmware in ,the method is just to get your box back up so you can enter keys.
there is no up to date red clone safe fix as far as i know.
