Help Setting Up Eurovox Ex7000

Just Joined the forum, and also just got my ex7000, need help in setting up my reciever to work on virgin fully, pls advise on what i need to do step by step to get it all working correctly.

You will find the firmware in the download section of this forum, Digital Kaos - Downloads - Eurovox EX7000 HD 220109 Firmware

You will need to wait 30mins+ after your first post before downloading, why not have a look around and join in whilst your waiting .

Hi Tech, thanks for the reply, I have downloaded the firmware for the ex7000 hd, where do i get the correct loader software for the firmware and do i neet to upload the channels list file first,

u would of got a usb with ur box no? anyway download the latest firmware for the hd box,extract rar file and u should be left with a file called flash.tbn or u need to edit it to be named flash.tbn stick that on ur usb,power box off,plug usb with the flash.tbn file on into back of hd box,switch on box,and should see on the panel of the box it uploading the firmware,then do a deep scan or full scan,deep scan gives u loads of duplicate channels,but i noticed full scan u miss a few with this firmware,hopefully fixed in future versions

Depends who you ordered it from, some do, some don't, it's very easy to do though and even if your box comes with the latest firmware installed you still need to know how to do it in order to install the latest updated firmware when it's made available.

Thanks. I have installed the firmaware from this site and it not works perfectly. Thanks for the help. I need to work out how to organise the channels now.
