      i have done all that ...

      i no am on com port 6, but the program only lets me pick ports 1 2 3 or 4, nothing higher.

        As said read the guide and select between comm ports 1 to 4 preferable on an unused port.

            i have manged to fix it now, what i did was under device manger i changed what com port it was on and then i was able to get t working, thanks.

                m8 read through carefully, one has "auto sort" disabled and the other has "auto sort" enabled.
                Download the one with auto sort enabled.

                    hi just got my new 5100 today, i assume that i need i to install it first before i start flashing it or can just flash staight out of the box's

                      Firmware for the 5100 is here >> Digital Kaos - Downloads - UFL_EX5100PVR_DarX_16-01-09

                      Thats all you need for your 5100 to pick up all your channels.

                      Follow the guides you just quoted.

                        thanks for a quick reply. i have the firmware i just wanted to know do i set it up to the tv first or can i start flashing it as the unit is brand new

                          The majority don't sell them flashed, post the system info.

                          Plug the box into your TV via scart,

                          Press menu, config, system info and type back what it says in there.
