i've updated the firmware now i'm tryin to scan, the SR list i've download what does it open it with??

Open with word, your SR is 6887 ex CW

i thought so..
i've started the power scan, then screen with freq,progess,level,quality pops up with TP ; 000
i've left it to do it's thing, got back nothing has happen it just went back to the user installation screen!!!!
i assume that wrong by lookin in the manual
what am i doing wrong
i've just started again

just finsh same again..
my signal is only 8% could it be that

just remenber we a box here before and that work fine (not eurovox)

Make sure you have your cable feed plugged into the RF in at the back of your box and NOT! the ANT socket then scan again.

Eurovox EX1500 pvr Firmware Update

Hello there , I just purchased the eurovox pvr and am about to update the firmware as recommended on this site. How do I check if the firmware on the eurovox is the latest ? Under the system information settings it says that the s/w version is 1.0 ST4 Jan06 2009 When I bought the box I was assured that it would work "straight out of the box" does this mean that the system has changed very recently or am i missing something here, the box seems to see all the channels but most are scrambled. I have the lead and a serial to usb convertor so I'm ready to go apart from the necessary firmware file if I need it at all. Thanks for any help with this sorry if I posted in wrong place these forums are a tad confusing and I need to get my head round how they work cheers people

Did you follow this guide word for word, http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...settings-9789/

You have a signal now so do a factory default and powerscan on 6887 if that doesnt work do another powerscan and try 6952

alright m8 me again differn problem now,
i did a test record the other day it was fine and i i try to record today but it only go's for about 5sec then stops, i've power down and on again, pull the hhd out and in again still no joy and the counter doesn't pop up in the corner aswell and i notice that it take awhile to power up?
any idea's m8 as it's baking my head now, many thanks

hi mate how's you!! just a quick question! i have problems with gettin sky sport 1 n 3 got 2 and no e4 it keeps sayin no or bad signal can this be fix'd!! if i go around my mates it picks up the 1 and 3 sports, he's only 5 mins away......

If its working at your mates in the same area then you have an incoming weak signal problem.

mine wont flash, i try to send firmware from laptop but says no avalible COM??

Have a look through the guides it explains how to sort out the com ports on the laptop.

hi thanks for the reply, you said it's a weak signal, now can this be fixed by manual scan or can i get a booster for this?
