    WHICH EUROVOX MODEL IS THE BEST???

    Hi all, this is my second post today.
    Which model is considered to be the best of EUROVOX receiverson the market which is still being manufactured, recently I have seen the EUROVOX 1000SL but have not been able to read any reviews regarding its performance, the price I saw for this was under ?90.00, is it worth buying and ok to update for channel etc?

      Yes the EX1000SL is a good reliable box but its down to personal preference, if you need a box that records the EX5100 PVR will do but bare in mind limited as its a single tuner so you can only record and watch another channel on the same frequency, the EX7000HD+ is capable of receiving HD quality but VM only have 1 HD channel which is BBCHD so a waist of money for the time being in my opinion, four more HD channels to follow soon.

          Hi all
          Just returned to forum after an absence.

          I am still using my trusty old eurovox 2 - how many people still have these on the go?

          Is it worth upgrading to a more recent model, or should it have infinite service life, as long as it gets software updates?

          Btw - i am about to flash my box again, after recent channel moves, is the nov 2008 firmware still the latest verson for this model of box?

              not worth upgrading as vermin are changing encryption, enjoy your old box while it lasts. do a search for nagra 3 on here.
