ex7000 record to usb?

Hi,

Am posting this question for a friend who want to know if you can record progs onto a usb from an ex7000?

If so, how do you play them back on a pc?

Dont have a box personally mate but believe you can record to a usb. that is what i have read.

to play back on pc i would imagine its as straightforward as:-

plug in usb > your computer should then read the usb and autoplay > choose option view files: or

plug in usb > start > my computer > your sub drive will be displayed > double click and the files will be ready to view. Once you click on the file it will open up in your default software e.g. windows media

Yes I am recording directly to a 250gb HDD but I have also used a pen drive.

To get the resulting files to play in WMp you need to rename them to .mpg files.

They are in a mpeg2 wrapper and can be converted by 'Super' etc to other formats.
