power scan help

help please

tried to follow the info from satsmo to get my 7000 hd to work

but it just seems to jam when scanning sticking at 11%

what am I doing wrong did the bit about resetting to factory settings first

Thinking back I think mine also froze up doing the power scan.

Try doing the 'deep scan' instead.

Hopefully you've installed the latest firmware?

Also, before scanning make sure that you have no splitters on the cable feed as you need a 'pure signal' to pick up all of the channels. You can put the splitters back, if you have any, after you've picked up all of the channels.
