hello my friends, i have sky sports 1 3 an xtra but no sky sports 2. i have tried everything, can anyone help and im in south east london,( how to get my area frequency) so frequency will help as well. thanks in advance

have a look in your channels marked tv1 to 8 to see if is in there .
also fac reset and rescan if you havnt done so already.

hello and thanks for your responds, but i have done all that, i dont kno if it just aint available in my area, but then why am i getting all except sky sports 2, i am also not getting setanta (all of their channels) is it my cable area? is there a way of gettin the frequecies in my area, im in london south east

check all channels after a scan they should be there

i have done that like 10 times, i have done deep scan, i mean everythin, champions league is on sky sports 2 on wednesday but i cnt watch it if this continues, i have all the sky sports channels except sky sports 2, im hearing booster, will this help, and where can i buy this, any recommendations or does any1 know of my frequency in my area (london south east)

where about's are you in London? have you looked in the download section to see if theres a CDF that will do for you?.

im in south london (south east to be exact) is there a way i will be able to tell what channels am suppose to recieve here, a web page or something with the frequencies

i dont get most channels as well, not even mtv base, setanta, skysports 2

This is from a very old dbox service file for London East (Ex C&W)

The freq for SS2 was 698.750

London South East is 691.000

It is possible they have changed since then but if you have someone close who can get the freq for you by pressing the info button while on the channel you can then add the freq manually.

You should see bottom left a button for adding a frequency (cant check at the mo as the wifes watching something)

First check how many freq you have then you can name any added with continuing numbers. ie if you have 33 frequencies the next you add will be named 0034 and so on.

Once you have added the frequency you can the scroll the list and tick it then manually scan.

OK to tick freq

Manual Scan

Once you have hit the coloured button to start the man scan the screen will go black for about 20-30 seconds (could be longer) while it searches for the transponder
