Strange problem on my ex5100

Had my eurovox 5100 with HDD for a few days now and sometimes when i switch on the box from standby it keeps on resetting itself with the channel number and ---- flicking on the display of the box,anyone know what could causing it?i hav eto pull the power lead out a few times to sort it

I think it happens when the box has been in stanby for a long time

best way to avoid this is not to put it in standby.there seems to be a glitch with some of these boxes which causes this to happen when put on standby.Happened on mine so i just leave it powered up.problem resolved
