Max V 2008 dropped a sky package ?

All channels seem to be fine, apart from beeb3 which is a bit scratchy, but has anyone else had this problem?..... i seem to have lost the following channels, Sly2 Sly3, Sly Arts, and the other two that make up the Sly extra package, i was wondering if they were all on the same frq and my box has just dropped that particular one, but i cant get them back after trying everything i know...any ideas folks?

I assume you have you done a channel update? every now and then VM change the frequencies. If this is the cas a channel update should find them. I know you said you did everything but sometimes we forget the obvious.

Channels updated selectively by frequency and power scanned the full range. this has been done every night for a week or more, but no joy.
I wouldnt mind so much but i do enjoy some programmes on 2&3 so i would like them back if i could.

look at your frequencies, they'll either be all even or odd numbers. If they're even, manually input your frequency for the sky sports 2/3 channel, but add 1 or subtract 1 (e.g. if it says 438Mhz, try 439 and 437)

If we look at the frequencies in terms of Khz, it could be that it's on 438500, which you can't search on the MaxV, so there's a chance it might have been rounded to the wrong frequency. It's a long shot but worth a try.

A deep scan should also pick it up, but it's time consuming.

you may need to factory reset to get rid of the dead freqs m8 then power scan

Went on a 3 day break, came home, all fixed as if by magic. I did absolutlely nothing.....go figure?

no good lasted a few days, then gone again, no matter what i do i cant get them back, have to put up with it i suppose, quite annoying though as i cant find the reason behind it.

a box keep dropping channels can be signal related,, im not saying for sure it is in your case,, but it could be,,

your signal needs to be 75-85

did you get CBBC? CBBC and BBC 3 are broadcast on the same channel. Same for CBeebies and BBC4. If you check those channels after 7pm you will have what you want.
