Eurovox EX5100

Just got hold of a new EX5100 PVR and found this web site as the manual it came with is not that good. Im guessing its not something that you just plug in and it works and it needs new firmware. Is this right? If so how do I go about setting it all up?

When can you start to download from the website. Do you need to unlock the privilage first?
