    EURO BOX EX7000

    hi all im new here

    i got a new box and i was woundering would this dri^e be any use with my new box

    Toshiba 500GB External Hard Drive USB 8MB Cache - Retail - Ebuyer

    greatfull for the help

    also can i use the channel list from my euro box max?

      thanks smoggy can i use that dri^e is it better to get a hd with a higher buffer rate

      what symbol rate do i need i not had to enter that before im in uk

        People have reported problems using drives with an external power supply, as opposed to ones powered by USB. That said howeer, I am using a 500GB drive with its own external power supply and have had no problems.

        There is no reason to spend extra money on a higher spec dirve as you will not notice any difference when using it with your eurovox.

        The correct symbol rate depends on the area you live in

          don't know about drives (had no experience with them on boxes)
          symbolrate all depends on who your original cable provider was, in the UK it will be either 6887 or 6952 if you give your location may be able to tell you

            hi

            it was plymouth i used 6952
            i got a 250 2.5 drive and it works from the internal usb power it works like a dream and when u switch off the box the drive goes off to, now to fill it with crap tv.
