How many channels !!!!!

Hi Everyone...

Got myself a Eurovox EX1000SL,firstly a big heap of praise to all contributors to the forums,who's advice has been great...
Opened my box this morning flashed it,scanned it and got 420 channels..!!!!
Question is is there a quick way of sorting through as I have a lot of duplicate channels,or do I have to manually sift out all the double ups ? !!!

Any shortcuts would be appreciated..

you can find a cdf file for your area(ie leicester) and download it to yer box.Take a look in the red stickies at the top of the eurovox section.there should be one there.Sorry in the download section at the top of the main page

to get the channels in the order you like them then the easiest way is to upload your cdf file to your PC and edit it using Voxer then download it back to your box.

Also depending on what firmware you have used you can press the FAV button on your remote and it will sort them out into category order i.e sport, entertainment, music and so on.

Cant see why not so long as its on the same symbol rate but smoggy gives good advice as it will be set up just as you want it although will take a little longer

Went for the Voxer option...got rid of the bits I didn't want and am well happy now..
