    General Question

Hi, I have been a user of a Eurovox Max V for about a year now and in all it has been working fine. I've managed to update the firmware on it a few times and I got an attenuator to solve a signal level problem a while back. What I was wondering though is there any way VM can tell if you have a Eurovox connected to their cable ? I've got the VM phone and broadband package plus the M size (free) TV package in one room, the Eurovox in another.

Also will they stop it working altogether in the future by changing the signal somehow so we cannot fix it with a firmware update ?

    Thanks for any input.

If you still have the original box supplied by VM, its always a good idea to connect from time to time, or better still leave it connected to a port in another room. VM from time to time send a signal down the line and wait for there box to give a response. Over time they might get suspicious if you are paying for a M package but not using it! Hopefully someone out there will keep supplying us with the update firmware, so you dont have any problems in the future.
