updating code

hey all

i have finally got the box working. it has found 200+ channels but has diplayed the screen "updating code, please wait", for a while now...

how long do i wait???
or
what should i do???

put it on ch s*y sports 1 and let it update.shouldn't take more than a couple of minutes

At a guess i'd say you've got the wrong firmware on the box.Depending on what box you have, go into menu, system info and see what firmware is on it.Post back and also let us know what box it is.Also are you getting fta channels ie bbc1 itv1,2 etc?

the box is eurovox 5000

the firmware is 1.0 ST4 Jul 08

sorry... it has founf bbc 1 and itv etc but still every channel says updating code please wait..

yer firmware is well out of date m8.go to download section at top of page and you'll find the latest update for your box there.

eurovox section 24/2/09 either one will do
